Diagnosis

The first step of any repair, through which all must pass. Whether you're having problems with a beloved older laptop or can't get a new upgrade to perform how you expect - I conduct an examination of the machine and its components as a system, then explain what issues and opportunities I have identified to make your machine perform nearer to your vision for it.

There are times when problems are resolved in the course of diagnosis, as well as times where a "like new" fix is prohibitively costly - in either instance, the diagnosis is not an obligation to further work or payment. The service is intended to provide you with information that allows you to make an educated choice as a consumer. 

Price is fixed for the service of handling and examination of the machine - services such as cleaning and testing of components are included, while replacement or repair may involve further costs and thus would involve approval before proceeding. Retrieval, courier, or other delivery may include additional costs, as may remote diagnosis attempts.
